Halloween, the holiday that celebrates everything creepy and scary, a great time to throw a kick-ass party! Every party needs drinks, food, music and, naturally, some fun party games.

A few fun Halloween party games:

  • Apple bobbing It is a classic Halloween party game for all ages. Just put some apples in a big bowl of water and see who manages to fish out the most using only his/her teeth.
  • Charades A very popular party game where you act out something and others have to guess what it is.
  • Costume contest A costume contest can be a fun add on for any Halloween party, so why not organize one? It's really not that hard:)
  • Do you dare to... Your going to need some preparation for this party game, but it's worth it. Make a few Halloween inspired challenges and then see, if people are willing to do them.
  • Eating contests Throwing an eating contest could be a great idea for your party. No better way to fill up your guests with junk food:)
  • Halloween drinking games Every party needs a drinking game or two, Halloween parties are no excetion.
  • Halloween scavenger hunt Scavenger hunts are some of the most popular real life adventure games perfect for any party and all ages. They have been around since forever...
  • Halloween the Dark Lord says This party game is the Halloween version of the classic game "Simon says".
  • Halloween trivia Another fun thing you can do is a Halloween themed trivia. You can do it in teams or with only a few participants at a time.
  • Hungry, hungry ghost Ever played "Hungry, hungry hippo"? This is kind of like a Halloween version of that game. It's fun because you can also get creative before the start of the game by making your own little ghosts.
  • Mummy wrap Toilet paper has some unique bond with Halloween. But this year you can use it to play a game instead of using it to ruin your neighbors house.
  • Pictionary This is a fun party game for any occasion. It's similar to charades, except you don't act out stuff, you draw them on paper.
  • Pumpkin carving contest Nothing say Halloween quite like a jack-o'-lantern. So make a contest out of making them.
  • Summoning Ever seen a horror movie where some teenagers do a summoning ritual and then an evil spirit and/or demon kills them all? OK, just do that:)
  • Tossing party games What the hell are tossing party games? Well, party games where you toss things around, or better yet, at a target and try to be better at it than your friends:)
  • What monster am I? This is the Halloween version of the "Who am I?" game. It's played exactly the same, except instead of famous people, you use monsters.

About Halloween parties

Halloween is that spooky time of year when ghosts and monsters come out... and a ton of parties are thrown all around!

It's customary to turn your run-of-the-mill house into a haunted house for your Halloween party. You'll need to make or buy a few Jack'o'lantrens ( or maybe let your guests make them for you? ), get some spider webs, plastic bats, anything scary that you can think of! You should also play some scary music, make food that looks like eyeballs, you know... classic Halloween stuff.

Party games have also always been a key party of any Halloween party. You have your classic Halloween party games like apple bobbing and ghost summoning , but you can also throw in a few not-so-typical games, like charades for example. It's your choice and I hope that this site will help you make it:)

Have a scary Halloween!
