Superbowl drinking games

Superbowl and heavy drinking usually go hand-in-hand, so it's only natural that you prepare a drinking game for your Superbowl party.

Ideally a Superbowl drinking game should be played in a way that doesn't interfere with football watching. So keeping that in mind, here are two fun drinking games that you can play.

Commentator says

This one is really simple. All commentators have phrases or specific words that they like to use a lot. Pick one of these phrases or words and drink every time he uses it.

You can make it a little more fun by picking individual words for everyone involved. This way some people will drink more than the others, they will be reminding each other to drink and everyone will be laughing and having a good time.

Drinking by play

This drinking game is similar as the previous one. The only difference is that instead of commentators words, you use different plays. For example, you pick a touchdown, now every time someone scores a touchdown, everyone drinks.

The liver is evil, it must be punished:)
Too much vodka?

What to drink?

Since people will want to drink beer during the game anyway, you should use something else for the drinking game. Prepare a sufficient amount of shot glasses and fill them up.

If you and your friends are big drinkers, you can use hard liquor. For everyone else it's probably best, if you use a cocktail mix. You can mix 1/3 shot glass of vodka, or some other hard liquor, and fill the rest with fruit juice.

It's a good idea to estimate the number of times that everyone will have to drink. If it's going to be more often, then you should use softer drinks, if it's going to be rare, then you can use stronger drinks.

Remember to drink responsibly!
